Review: Ayakashi Koi Gikyoku

Welcome to my review of the newest visual novel on Nintendo Switch, Ayakashi Koi Gikyoku.

Actually, this is not really a review as the game was mostly incomprehensible and honestly speaking, it was bad. Visual novels are big in Japan and this is by no means considered an indie project in the land of the rising sun, no, this is a main project for a big studio.

I am sure that it is great when played in Japanese, but the English version is so badly translated, it hurt my eyes. I included screenshots from my initial gameplay and I kid you not, they all came from the first 5 minutes and were not the only ones.

As the game was like this, I am not able to properly review this game and am thus advising everyone to stay clear of this title. Unless you are a lover of weird conversations in a game, stay clear…

I will not be able to give this game a real rating as I quit really early on the game. Nothing makes sense and I felt my gameplay was a waste of my time and I recommend not wasting yours nor your money.
