Today, Nintendo held their presentation for E3 2018, the biggest game previously announced being Super Smash Brothers.
We start off with a new trailer for a brand new game called: Daemon X Machina. This game is coming 2019 from Marvelous.
Next up is Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the Torn – Golden Country DLC, coming September 2018.
Then we get to see Reggie, showcasing Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, highlighting all the advantages to using the Switch mechanics on a game like this. He takes out the Pokeball Plus and explains all its features. Mew will be exclusive to all poke ball plus devices.
Super Mario Party is next, a new Party game in the Mario Party franchise, that can now link Switches to each other. Super Mario Party is looking awesome and seems like the top party game to own, coming out October 5, 2018.
Fire Emblem Three houses is next, we finally get a great view at a gorgeous Fire Emblem game for Nintendo Switch. This game seems to involve strategy on top of regular RPG elements. Fire Emblem Three houses is coming out early 2019.
Next up is the big reveal of Fortnite, which was semi confirmed beforehand, but now it is officially out there. It looks fun and really good, free to play like always and it is out TODAY.
Back to Reggie who is giving props to all indie developers and they are now announcing Overcooked 2 (august 7), Killer Queen Black (2018) and Hollow Knight (out TODAY).
Octopath Traveler is coming on July 13th and a new demo will be out on june 14th.
Next up is the trailer for Starlink, followed by Arena of Valor, Minecraft, Sushi Striker, the Rabbids DLC, Just Dance, Dragon Ball Fighter Z, Splatoon DLC, Toad, Crash Bandicoot, Ninjala, Carcassonne, Fifa 2019, Ark, Wasteland 2, Paladins, Dark Souls, SNK Heroines, Monster hunter ultimate, Megaman 11 and many others, all in a high paced reel.
On to Nintendo Osaka, where Shinya Takahashi thanks everyone for their continued support, he gives the spotlight to Sakurai and he brings us Super Smash Bros.
He highlights all the big things happening in the past and we get a fighters video. Link, Kirby, Fox, Marth, … all are in there. Introducing the Ice Climbers, Inklings, Squirtle, … Snake is back!!!!!
Super smash Bros Ultimate is the name. Every fighter of the history of Smash is going to be in it. Making this the real ultimate edition.
They showed off so much information, levels, attacks, characters, it was hard to keep up without being overexcited. All amiibo will be compatible with the game and a new controller sporting the Gamecube design will be released too.
Here comes another challenger, Ridley is now announced!
The game will be available on December 7th 2018.
