The Game Awards is full of surprises, just like this last game announcement… an upcoming World War Z game based on the film.
An upcoming zombie shooter will be released in the near future. World War Z, is a game that adapted the movie’s story and it will be played as 4-player co-op survival game. It will be released on PC, Xbox One and PS4. A trailer shows us empty landscapes across the globe and some zombie killing action. Saber Interactive, known for their 3rd person co-op shooter God Mode, will develop this game under the supervision of Paramount Pictures.
“Saber has tons of experience working on high-quality games and they’ve done a great job capturing the massive, frantic hordes of zekes that sets our franchise apart,” said Bil Bertini, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Licensing for Paramount Pictures.
Bil Bertini quoted: “They have created a fiercely original experience in the rich universe of World War Z that fans are sure to love.”
No official release date yet, but stayed tuned for more information!
