F.A.C.T.S. has been around for years and claimed the spot as the biggest Comic Con in Belgium. You’ll meet a lot of talented cosplayers, see a lot of interesting merch and play some of the new upcoming games. In this special article, we show you what you can expect to see in the Gaming zone.
First of all, it’s worth mentioning that F.A.C.T.S. is supporting the gaming industry big time. The Gaming zone is huge compared to other editions and you’ll find a lot of things to do here. Let’s kick off with the Ubisoft booth! Here, you can play the upcoming Assassin’s Creed: Origins, running on one of the most impressive gaming set-ups you’ll see at the convention. The game runs extremely fluently and enables you to discover the gorgeous virtual version of Egypt. But that’s not all! You can also win prizes, go home with free posters or take a picture at the epic Assassin’s Creed throne. The Ubisoft booth is by far the best-looking one in the gaming zone and worth a visit. If you want to play South Park: The Fractured but Whole, you’ll have to go further in the hall, but it’s good to see this one’s playable too!
Next to Ubisoft, you’ll find the massive booth of Nintendo. Super Mario Odyssey claims its spot in the center of the booth and gives you the opportunity to discover the Sand and Metro Kingdom one week in advance of the official release. There’s a lot more to discover at the playful red booth. Want a free Pokémon? Go grab a code at the desk! Want a picture with a giant Cappy? Also possible! Want to play games? Nintendo got you covered! Skyrim, NBA, Fifa, Splatoon, Pokken, Mario Kart, Arms, Metroid, Mario & Luigi…. It’s all playable. Nintendo sure did bring its big guns to this convention, making it the most popular booth in the gaming hall. You can also win awesome stuff by playing or watching several of the tournaments. This is one you should visit for sure!
So, that’s it? Nope! PlayStation is also present! With four new PlayStation VR games and an impressive camper where you can discover some of the PlayLink games, their booth is definitely worth seeing. It’s not as big or impressive as the Nintendo or Ubisoft booths, but PlayStation does bring what fans want to see: new playable games. Perhaps a bit more games would have been better but aside of that, it’s a fun booth to hang around
Aside from the big guns, you’ll also be able to discover booths from HP Omen and World of Tanks. Both offering you a chance to discover some of the most powerful and successful PC games on the market. Don’t like those modern games? Well, there a retro arcade hall located at the end of the Gaming zone to relive those golden games. To conclude, at the very end of the zone is a giant eSports arena where teams battle for the big money. And, of course, there’s a GameMania booth where you can grab free posters, play real Mario Kart or play it virtually on the SNES Classic Mini.
It’s clear that F.A.C.T.S. is the place to be if you want to play some games this weekend, be sure to check it out!
