Hey everyone and welcome to yet another round of Nintendo tidbits in our weekly column called Nintendo Boulevard!
It was a very busy week with the big release of both Puyo Puyo Tetris and of course, that one title we all know and love, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!
Other big news was the dropping of the first big DLC in the Year pass of Zelda, Breath of the wild! The list of all items that got added is huge and I personally look forward to equipping that Tingle outfit on Link.
DotEmu, the studio behind Wonder Boy, officially confirmed they are looking into creating a physical version of their game, first it would come to PlayStation 4 and if all goes as planned, a Switch version would come later on! Isn’t this great news for all collectors of physical games?
More new games got announced for the Switch, one being Dusty Raging fist, a side-scrolling beat’m up game that looks hectic but fun! Another one being Earth Atlantis, which sports some awesome graphics!
Obviously, we can not ignore the new Nintendo 2DS XL, a new console that will be joining the ranks of the current pool of portables! I loved that Japanese version of the console with the Dragon Quest on it…
Nintendo also announced their financial numbers, I won’t bore you with details, but the sky is very blue above Nintendo 😀 The most important part was that the Switch broke the Nintendo sales record and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe seems to be well on its way to be a very strong seller as well!
On mobile, more Fire Emblem content got released as well, glad to see this game is getting such good support!
Games like Arms and Splatoon 2 got more artwork and information shared, I wish these games were available already, can’t wait to play splatoon 2 again!
Well, that was about it for this week, in a few hours, Tumbleseed is hitting the eShop on Nintendo Switch, look forward to my review when it hits!
