A bullet hell game with anime influences, a hit or a miss?

It is in between hit and miss for me, while the graphics are amazing and the variety of shooting powers, that is an impressive feature. Aside from that, this game had a rather disappointing story and I found myself hitting the Options button during speech to skip the cut scenes and head back to the action.
The action itself is also pretty impressive, but at the same time, this is where it fails…

I found myself entertained but not for very long, I think it took me about 20 minutes when I decided to give up on really trying, as the game appears to have an infinite amount of continues… I continued after getting killed a few times too often, because disclaimer, I suck at this type of game, but knowing you won’t have to pick up from the beginning of a level, it took away the fun of the game, big time.

At times, I just kept shooting in the middle of the screen, hoping to hit enemies and well, it got old quickly, I know this is not the way to do things, but meh, I got bored way too quickly…

In conclusion, I am going to leave this one up to you, our reader, to decide wether or not this was a hit or a miss!
I honestly can’t rate this positively, because I simply do not like this genre, but I wanted to give it a fair chance. Reviewing games often means you also get games you don’t like or games you “discover” as being great.
This game, Caladrius Blaze, is not for me, but I am sure that anyone who likes the bullet hell genre, they will love this game! It is beautiful but it has its flaws…
