Since there’s no new Assassin’s Creed game coming this year, it looks like the official movie has skipped 2016 as well.
The movie, once again, demonstrates a rather different approach to the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Callum Lynch played by Michael Fassbender gets a ‘second change’ by reliving the past of his ancestor, a man that died 500 years ago. As an Assassin, Callum walks around during the Spanish Inquisition and it seems like he’s having the time of his life. Jumping from tall buildings, killing men and flirting with a female Assassin, life was good.
That isn’t the case in the normal life of Callum, who seems to be forced into the Animus against his will. It seems like a revolution is about the happen and Abstrego Industries might be facing modern Assassins real quick.
Most important information is the delay to January 2017. Looks like the Ezio collection will be the only Assassin’s Creed experience we get in the last months of 2016.
