Metronomicon is game that I’ve checked out recently at Gamescom 2016. The game itself is developed by a company named Puuba and it will probably be published by Kalypso. Metronomicon is a very unique game that combines RPG- elements with rythm based gaming. I went down to the Kalypso booth where Danny Garfield, the studio lead of Puuba walked me through some of the features this game has to offer…
Danny’s presentation really convinced me of this whole concept where RPG and Rythm based gaming go in hand in hand. You can really tell that the developer spent a lot of time in tweaking the game to an absolute perfection. The whole concept of the game really works and I’m glad that I can spend my experience with every single one of you. Within this post, you’ll find a big chunk of some off-screen gameplay footage of “The Metronomicon”. Danny Garfield showed me the ropes on how to play the game decently and he was so kind to show me a bit more than just the demo build of this game.
This cartoony looking rythm- based game has it all! From leveling up your characters to the craziest bossfights a game of this genre has ever seen. I can’t wait to get my hands on the full game and improve my rythm skills. It won’t be for everyone but I know it will definitely have its public and I’m happy to be one of them.
