A lot of people called Nintendo crazy for only showing off the new Legend of Zelda during their E3 show but it seems the company made the right decision.
The Game Critic Awards revealed the list of winners.
As you can see for yourself, Breath of the Wild is on the number one spot as Game of the Show. But that’s not all, it also won the best console and best action/adventure award.
It’s no surprise the game gets all of this attention since it’s one of those game that nobody saw coming. Nobody thought Nintendo would reinvent the formula that much but what results is a crazy looking game. Our friends at GameSpot put together a nice top 25 of why you should check it out.
So that’s all great news for Nintendo and the fans of the franchise, the only downside is that you’ll still have to wait until 2017 to get your hands on the actual game. Don’t worry however, 2016 has been an amazing gaming year so far with a lot of releases. Perhaps these sleeper games are worth a shot?
