It seems That while the date isn’t specified the game still got bumped up from the original 2016 date.
Yo-Kai watch looks like the original concept for Pokemon where you would buy your Pokemon from a Gasha-Pon machine. But those are the only similarities. Well except for the monsters thing. That being said this game looks great and I can’t wait to play it. Also these monsters look great and the combat is looking very creative and fun. I am glad we’re finally getting this game cause it genuinely fun. It seems like Level 5 is really stepping it up with these games.
