Halo 5: Guardians is without a doubt the biggest and most important Xbox One game coming up this year. A lot of attention will go to it during the Microsoft presentation for sure.
GameInformer had the honor to do a cover-story on the game and revealed some new details.
These details are focussed on the solo experience of Guardians, the story is different this time, here we go:
- The Chief will be accompanied by three other Spartan-II soldiers named Linda, Fred and Kelly, they know John (Master Chief) since he joined the UNSC.
- Just like in Reach, all three Spartans will follow you during your journey, even in co-op.
- In co-op, the other player will take control over one of the three Spartans, each Spartan has its own strengths and weaknesses.
- If you play solo, you’ll be able to give certain commands to your team.
- Spartan Locke will show another side of the story and is there to hunt down and take down the Chief. He also has his team of Spartan-IV warriors the FireTeam Osiris.
