Let’s break down the beauty and the beast. A small side note, Jade is out. R.I.P. in peace Jade.
first off is Kitana:
Netherrealm showed off her alt and here it is:
Royal Storm:Gains Fan-Nado,Bounce Back and Square Boost.
You can recognise this variation by the glowing stick in her hair and she’s mask-less.
Her fan-nado gains way more range than the regular version, and her enhanced version is a full-screen attack.
This version gives Kitana a spin attack as a reflector.
Assassin: Gains Assassins Strike, Princess Parry and Sharpen.
The Assassin variation has black eyeshadow and more black in her suit.
Kitana gains a parry that she can hold down and she can use it low too. She can do a move called Sharpen which means she sharpens the blades on her fan(duh) which gives Kitana a buff on all her fan moves. Sharpen makes Kitana’s run attack automatically enchanted without wasting meter.
Mournful: Gains unique special attacks utilizing Jade’s Glaive and Staff.
Of course this variation is noticeable by Jade’s staff.
Kitana’s fan toss got replaced by Jade’s glaive and the enhanced version make the glaive return like a boomerang.
Jade’s staff toss is back to.
Reptile is next:
Again Netherrealm showed us the alt of the ninja lizard and here it is:
Deceptive: Gains various stages of invisibility.
This variation has no mask.
Deceptive makes him completely invisible and that’s it.
Noxious: Gains a persistent noxious cloud that inflicts unblockable damage.
You can see gas and flies around Reptile in this variation.
The gas around Reptile does damage if you stand to close. He can also widen the gas by doing a specific input and the enhanced version covers the most area.
Nimble: Gains the ability to gain speed and slow the opponent.
This one gives Reptile a snake belt which is still alive.
Reptile gets a move that gives the screen a green filter and slows down the opponent while seemingly making Reptile faster.
