At the Nintendo direct we learned about some Splatoon features and the release date.
Firstly Splatoon will have a HUB where other players Inklings will roam around and you can talk with them.
In the center there is a tower which leads to the online multiplayer.
You can go to shops to customize your character with guns, headgear,costumes and shoes which you pay for with money you earn in multiplayer matches.
You get a main weapon, sub-weapon and a special weapon and clothing boosts different stats like speed and strength.
And at the end Nintendo announced that Splatoon drops may 2015.
