SOE Live 2014 released some new information about the combat system and 3 new classes.
The combat sstem won’t be the same like all the other EQ games because all the classes that exist can’t be changed. The combat system will rely on your reflex, skills and positioning during a fight.
Thanks to the new feature ” Heroic movement”, you’ll be able to chain movements with combat abilities.
The player must time their attacks, adjust their movement speed and be face to face with their opponent in order to be effective. Keep in mind that the destructible environment will also affect the battle.
The player won’t be bound to one specific class, you’ll have the ability to swap classes. You can choose between 40 classes and one of those classes are the Cleric, Elementalist and Tempest. Everquest Next will launch in the upcoming future for the PS4 and PC .
