Ryse: Son of Rome is one of Xbox One’ launch games and will really show what the system is capable of.
Crytek had to confirm however that the retail version of Ryse will feature less polygon than plannend.
At first, the main character was supposed to be made of 15.000 polygon. Crytek confirmed that he’ll now be made out of 85.000 instead.
The reason why Crytek did this was because they didn’t want to use LOD’s but feature better shaders instead.
