Square Enix revealed Murdered : Soul Suspect prior to E3 2013. The company didn’t share any details, just a trailer.
The game is about detective Ronan O’Connor who got killed by an assassin. In spirit form he has to find his assassin and solve some mysteries while staying on the other side.
As ghost, Ronan can’t interact with other human beings in a direct way but he can manipulate his environment.
