Last week, animal rights organisation PETA launched a new campaign. After having attacked the Mario-games for wrongful behaviour against animals, they are now attacking Pokémon. According to PETA, the Pokémon are being used to fight, which is not very friendly against animals.
Also, being locked in a small Pokéball is not very animalfriendly.
Gamers reacted very outrageous, but now, Nintendo has answered to the accusations.
“Nintendo and The Pokémon Company take the use of our products and intellectual property very serious.”
