The Xbox Live Arcade edition of Minecraft has been sold over 4 million times. 4J Studios, the studio responsible for this version, announced this. This makes Minecraft the best sold game on XBLA until now. Within 4 weeks after the release, the game had over 2 million downloads. This has now been doubled.
Markus Persson, creator of Minecraft, was on the news last week when he said not to accept a Windows 8-certificate, even if this means Minecraft won’t run on Windows 8.
