NEWS: Nintendo pre-E3 show summary

Nintendo just kicked off the E3 today by holding a WiiU pre-E3 showing.

– Nintendo started off with Iwata telling Nintendo’s motto: creating something unique.

– This conference is kicking off Nintendo’s E3 conference, the conference will be all about the WiiU games, this time he’ll tell more about the WiiU controller.

– Nintendo wanted to create something very unique with WiiU.

– Nintendo would like to put all family members together rather them letting them be together ‘alone’ (using their own technology).

– WiiU must help to unite people all over the world.

– WiiU Controller is called WiiU Control GamePad.

– Final WiiU Control GamePad won’t have Circle Pads like 3DS but sticks like those on regular controllers.

– Button lay-out has changed as well.

– An NFC reader is included. By placing real life objects like cards on the GamePad you can use them to interact with a game.

– The GamePad can control your TV as well, TV can be turned on using WiiU GamePad.

– Controller screen can show different footage other than the footage on your television screen.

– The controller features a touchscreen.

– Just like 3DS, the GamePad can detect motion controls.

– Some games can be played without the television screen, as shown during E3 conference last year.

– WiiU will support all Wii controllers like Wiimote, Nunchuk and Wii Balance Board.

– A new WiiU Controller Pro will release with the console. The Controller Pro is a more regular controller like an Xbox or GameCube controller.

– WiiU will bring best of both casual and hardcore.

– Showing off a random zombie shooter game controlled by a Black WiiU ControlPad.

– You can ask online community for help. There even appears to be a cellphone app to contact your friends.

– You can use the WiiU controller to video chat with other WiiU players.

– WiiU interface is shown, called Mii Warra Warra. In this place you’ll find your own Mii, other registered Mii’s, Friends and other players who enjoy the same games as you.

– Will show the most played games, even if you don’t own them.

The Miiverse is a place where players all over the world can meet up and connect.

– You can write to Mii’s in Miiverse using touchscreen our your own handwriting using the touchscreen.

– You can change your Mii’s emotion to help others understand your mood.

– MiiVerse works with all WiiU games.

– Even in single player games, MiiVerse can connect your living rooms with those of others.

– MiiVerse will work later on for 3DS, PC or any web enabled mobile device.

– An internet browser will also be included in the WiiU ControlPad and you can show off the content on your television screen as well.

– WiiU is meant to be together, better.

– During Nintendo’s E3 conference, WiiU games will be shown off. It looks like the conference won’t pay much attention to Nintendo 3DS.
