NEWS: Microsoft E3 conference summary [LIVE]

The Microsoft press conference just came to an end. Discover everything that was said during their conference as well as the first details on the upcoming new Xbox 360 games. – A pre-E3 show has started on Xbox Live.

 – The pre-E3 show was all about old game trailers like Tomb Raider, Black Ops II, Halo 4 and more.

 – A Halo 4 live action trailer was used as an intro. – Halo 4 just kicked off the press conference with a brand new trailer.

 – The game appears to be set in a jungle looking world. The game is being played live on stage and looks fantastic.  – New type of enemy was shown, fast running creatures.

New types of enemies really force you to change your style of surviving.

– The game is about a just awakened ancient evil.

 – Don Mattrick just entered the Microsoft stage. – Xbox will come to PC’s, Tablets and phones later this year.

– Next game to be shown on stage is Splinter Cell Black List featuring a new gameplay.

– The story takes place at the Iran/Iraq border.

– The game looks rather action packed rather than the stealthy gameplay, you can even use slowmo. – The game will ship Spring 2013.

– Next up is EA Sports showing off Fifa and Madden NFL supporting Kinect.  

– A new trailer of Fable Journey is being showed.

– World premiere trailer for the new Gears of War game is shown and is looking good. We see Baird and Cole fighting the Locust. Game is releasing 2013.

– The trailer is followed by a Forza Horizon trailer.

– Starting this fall you’ll be able to use voice comment to search different categories in Bing like:’Xbox Bing Action’ to show everything action related on your console..

– More entertainment companies like Machinima, Nickelodeon and others will support Xbox Live.

 – Xbox will feature lots of new Sport services like ESPN.

Xbox Music is announced not only for Xbox but also Windows 8 based devices. Looks a bit like Spotify. You can see what your friends are listening at. – The future of fitness is revealed using Kinect.

 – It’s called Nike + Kinect Training.

 – Xbox SmartGlass announced, for Windows phone, Iphones and Android systems.

 – What it does is connecting all your portable devices with your Xbox 360. You can continue watching a movie you started on your tablet on your television screen.

 – The portable devices can also give you more information of the things your watching on your television. Like a world map for Games of Thrones.

– The SmartGlass will also be used for gaming. Like for example give you extra field information while playing Madden and even controlling the game itself.   – In Halo 4 the SmartGlass can be used for checking Halo WayPoint in real time while playing.

 – It can work with any portable device. For example control your Xbox Live dashboard with Smartphones.

 – SmartGlass can interact with games like Nintendo’s WiiU but operates more as a second screen to see additional information.

– Next up is Tomb Raider showing off a new gameplay trailer.

 

– The game is all about surviving and we see a more terrified Lara Croft than ever before. – The game is more cinematic like Uncharted.

– It’s time to view some new worlds on Xbox, 3 world premiers will be shown.

 – First up is the multiplayer game, Ascend new Gods, a game about several creatures fighting each other.

 – The second game is LocoCycle, a racing game.

 – The last game is a puzzle game featuring a sphere, it’s called Matter and is made for Kinect. – Next up is the brand new Resident Evil 6 that once again focuses a lot on the action gameplay.

 – Followed up is Wreckateer, a Xbox Live game were you have to destroy several castles using a slingshot ballista, you control the bullet with Kinect.

 – After that, the new South Park game for Xbox is shown.

– You can control your own character to feature in the game. The game is called The Stick of Truth and looks like a regular playable South Park episode.

Dance Central 3 is revealed. Usher takes the stage. – The event is coming to an end.

– To conclude the conference, Microsoft shows off a new Black Ops II trailer. Once again the DLC will be a 360 time exclusive.
