Nintendo will be giving a lot more information about their new console during the E3 convention in June.
Although we don’t know what Nintendo will reveal during their press conference, we can be sure that Super Mario and Pikmin will make their return.
During an interview Miyamoto stated that Super Mario Bros will return to the show this year. The game will be based on the 2D demo from last year:
“In a recent interview, Mr. Miyamoto confirmed that a new Super Mario Bros. game for the Wii U system will be shown at this year’s E3 Expo. This is based on the Mario experience that was demonstrated at last year’s E3 Expo. We’ll have more to announce about our plans for the E3 Expo at a later date.”
But there’s more. Fans all over the world have been waiting years to see the new Pikmin game. Some guessed the game would release on Wii or 3DS but Miyamoto said he was making the game on WiiU. Good news for the fans, the game will be shown for the first time during E3.
“In a recent interview, Mr. Miyamoto confirmed that a new Pikmin game will be shown at the E3 Expo in June. He believes that anyone who has played Pikmin games in the past will enjoy playing.”
