Last week, there were some rumours that Valve is developing their own console. Those rumours are now strengthened because it seems that in November 2009, a patent was ordered for a game controller. The patent is registered to three employees of Valve.
What’s so special about the controller, is that you are able to plug in different devices, from joysticks and touchpads to a trackball or a microphone. This doesn’t mean anything yet. Gabe Newell has stated before that Valve has always been planning on making hardware, but they never really started on it.
It is also a patent registered to three people and the controller consists of three parts. If we look at Valve’s experience with the number 3, we might say that this controller will never release?
