Ubisoft has confirmed that they have made a change in the Rainbow Six: Patriots development team. The designer of Heavy Rain and Driver: San Francisco, Jean-Sebastien Decant is now the creative director for the game.
A spokesperson for Ubisoft has made an official statement about the changes in the development team. He also said this:
“The Rainbow 6 Patriots development team is still hard at work to deliver the next instalment of the revered Tom Clancy series and more details on the game will be revealed at a later date.”
Jean-Sebastien Decant previously worked on games like Heavy Rain and Driver: San Fransisco, as a game designer at Quantic Dream, before moving to Ubisoft Reflections and later Ubisoft Montreal, where he was most recently narrative designer.
The Heavy Rain angle would be a good fit for Patriots’ difficult player choices.
