The amount of pre-orders for Mass Effect 3 is a lot more than those for Mass Effect 2 in the same period. This was made public by Will Graham, employee of EA.
The exact amount of pre-orders was not told. He did state that, for the first time in the series, the game is launching for three platforms at the same time. Mass Effect 2 came to Xbox360 and PC first, and a few months later to PS3.
Graham says that he trusts the quality of the third sequel.
“Mass Effect 3 is the successor of a game with a Metacritic-score of 96 and everything points to it that the third part will be of an even better quality.”
Mass Effect 3 is in stores March 8th for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
