Tom Clancy is responsable for some of the most impressive videogames, that’s something we have known for a long time. But in the meantime, we have been told that Rainbow Six will have a new sequel. That’s what Ubisoft said earlier today.
According to the spokesperson, Rainbow 6 Patriots will have a dynamic story that visualizes terrorism in a more realistic way and is being told through multiple characters.
Notable is that the game is called Rainbow 6 and not Rainbow Six. “Terrorism has developed further, just like Rainbow 6. In Paitriots, all tactical, team and realistic elements added to a new, exciting story”, says David Sears, Creative Director of Ubisoft. “This makes the game more human and makes sure that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots will be an extremely exciting and compelling game”.
Team Rainbow will come in contact with an organisation called ‘True Patriots’. They think the American government is corrupt and threatens to take over the country. It’s Rainbow’s task to make ethical decisions in times of chaos.
We can also expect new online and offline multiplayermodes in which team play is very important. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots releases in 2013 for Xbox360, Playstation 3 and PC.
